So you've got all the money and you want to live the good life, don't you? Well, in that case, congratulations! Here's a list of our favourite five stars hotels in London!
First, and right on the bank of the Thames, there is The Savoy, a luxurious hotel over a hundred years old, which perfectly blends its historical architecture with the latest technological commodities. Travel in time with all last generation services still available!
If you like good food, the Corinthia Hotel offers a variety of restaurants and bars within its installations, as well as many commodities such as penthouses, suites and a huge spa with all you could want to spend a relaxing day before heading up to its international quality bar.
For those who like modern design and vibrant ideas, the May Fair Hotel combines all the luxury of a five stars hotel with an unique style that reflects all the postmodern trends of art. Top quality service in an avant garde frame.
The middle point
If you want to enjoy all basic commodities for a good price, you should be wise as the Buddhists and find the perfect balance between the extremes. Here are some great hotels which are in between top and bottom, perfect for all purposes!
Our first pick is Jurys Inn Islington, a beautiful hotel with great views from almost every window, nice service an all you need for a good stay. It's very close to some of London's main underground and train stations, so you should have no problem reaching your points of interest.
Another great place to stay is Park Grand London Kensington, a four star boutique hotel with some relatively cheap room options. All its installations have full commodities and a stylish look. We recommend that you check out ther bar and restaurant.
We also like Hampton by Hilton London Waterloo which is a quiet and nice hotel with all basic services covered, and its main advantage is its location: central London, close to monuments such as the Big Ben and the London Bridge, as well as the Waterloo Station.
London on a budget
The cheaper you want to go, the more risky picking accommodation gets. Not all places are beautiful in London, just as in any other city of the world. We recomend you to get extra cautious when traveling on a budget; there are good places out there for a low price, but you need to get reliable references here more than ever. In order to save you from an unpleasant surprise, here are our favourite places to stay in London on a budget.
The Thistle Bloomsbury Park is a nice hotel placed in central London that offers some quite cheap rooms, but the fact that the hotel itself isn't cheap is a nice guarantee of the general service quality. Also, the atmosphere is really nice and we love the friendly staff. This hotel is very close to many attractions in London.
If you want to go really cheap but still get quality accommodation, our best recomendation is that you try the Gatwick Turret Guest House, which is extremely budget-proof yet still manages to provide good accommodation. You only get bed and breakfast but the house is located very close to places where you can eat, drink and travel to main spots in London.
